"Mohammed Khisar Paika is an American singer-songwriter, composer, board certified physician, and engineer from Albuquerque, New Mexico.

With more than 20 years of experience in the music industry, the all-around artist is also the founder and managing director of One Essence Productions, which is a label company that introduces Pop, R&B, Spiritual, and World music to the global audience. Integrating Eastern and Western styles into his sound, the virtuoso and humanitarian comes from a long line of musicians.

Growing up listening to Bollywood singers and being exposed to Classical Islamic Quranic chanting, Paika has learned to incorporate different genres into his songs. Paika first started exploring his musical skills while being a member of the Silent Thunder Band with whom he has released the spiritual acapella album Sounds of Reverence in 2003. In 2017, he set up his own record label and shared his first solo acapella album The Most Merciful.

A year later he dropped the debut album Unity, which is a fusion of moderate contemporary as well as bollywood style music. Mohammed K. Paika has won multiple film awards for his creations, released via the self-owned One Essence Productions. For the single “So Many Divisions,” he received the Peace Award at the California Music Awards and Best Song at the Festigious International Film Festival. “The song addresses issues that resonate in everyone's life. We are all humans first prior to being indoctrinated into any type of faith, sect or religion.”

 

In 2020, "O My Nation ('Ya Ummati')" earned an award at the Roshani International Film Festival, and became a finalist at New York International Film Awards, Independent Shorts Awards, California Music Video & Film Awards, and New York Film Awards.

In 2022, the powerful single "Stronger" won Best Music Video at the 8 & Half Film Awards. Alongside his music career, Paika is a practicing physician with a degree from the Ross University School of Medicine. He has also received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of New Mexico. Traveling across the USA, Dubai, Singapore, France, England, Turkey, and India, Mohammed K. Paika has given many notable performances around the world. He has also collaborated with renowned artists like the Pakistani Classical Singer Hisham Faisal Siddique. The two worked together on “Mere Khuda,” which went on to garner a million views.
